Oliver Furniture Wood Original Junior Day Bed - Oak

The Oliver Furniture Wood Original Junior Day Bed is a beautifully versatile first bed, combining a cosy sleeping space at night with the look and feel of a small sofa during the day. Its protective sides help create a reassuring place to sleep, while cushions and throws can be added along the backrest to turn it into an inviting spot for reading, relaxing and play.

At just 160 cm long, the junior day bed is particularly well suited to smaller children's bedrooms. Despite its compact proportions, there is still enough room for a parent to lie alongside for a bedtime story or quiet cuddle.

As your child grows, the bed can be fitted with a separately available bed guard for extra security and later converted to a full 200 cm adult-length bed (additional kit )  or another bed within the Wood Original collection. This adaptability helps extend its useful life well beyond the early years.

Materials & Finish

Made from white-oiled solid oak and moulded birch veneered in oak. The wood is treated with a white-pigmented oil based on linseed, sunflower and jojoba oil.

Natural Wood

As oak is a natural material, variations in grain, tone and appearance are part of its character. Slight differences in colour may occur between components, and wooden surfaces may fade when exposed to direct sunlight.
